No Man's Land!

Dear readers,

The Swedish fashion brand "Monki" has named their 2012 Fall/Winter campaign "No Man's Land" while referring to a nomads kind of world. The nomads style is represented throughout their campaign shots, have a look at it for yourself!

Don't you just love the style of this campaign?! I know I do! I will definitely stop by the Monki store when this collection is out :)

Suri Cruise!

Dear readers,

Today celebrity kids are almost celebrities themselves. They know how to work the camera's and look stylish 24/7. One of those kids is 6-year old Suri Cruise, daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. From the moment she was born she is captured wearing the most beautiful dresses, shoes and casual outfits. Lets have a look at some of her outfits!

What do you think of Miss Suri's style? For me, I find it a bit too mature for her age, especially since she is wearing heels and occasionally some lipstick.

The Dark Knight Rises!

Dear readers,

Woof, went to see "The Dark Knight Rises" last Wednesday! Of course, I had really high expectations and Christopher Nolan, the director, didn't dissapoint me. I do think it is not as good as "The Dark Knight", but it is still VERY good and therefore I highly recommend you go watch it in the cinema. These kind of movies have such a good effect at the movies, that the experience simply wouldn't be the same when watching it at home.
For those of you who haven't watched the movie yet, see the trailer below for a preview!
My favourite personage in this movie is definitely "Bane" played by Tom Hardy. What a magnificent actor!

Let me know what you thought about the movie and have fun!

Michelin star workshop!

Dear readers,

My boyfriend celebrated his 32nd birthday on July 6. As a present I gave him a cooking workshop under supervision of a Michelin rated chef, since my boyfriend LOVES to cook and his dream is opening his own restaurant some day. I couldn't think of a better gift :) Anyway, we had such a lovely day! We learned so much from this experience and we really enjoyed having a sneak peek in the kitchen of a Michelin star restaurant, learning their tricks and skills.
We prepared a three-course dinner and everything was SO delicious!

To have an impression of our workshop, below some photos. Enjoy!

And of course, the results:

Starter: Steak tartar

Main course: Red mullet
Dessert: Tomato and strawberry and strawberry and tomato

Has any of you ever done a workshop like this? If so, did you like it?

Berlin 2012 was EPIC!

Dear readers,

Yesterday I got back from my trip to Berlin and boy, what a trip it was! Berlin never ceases to amaze me! If any of you have ever been there, I am sure you agree with me :) From Wednesday till Sunday we were with a total of 12 people and from Sunday till yesterday it was just me and my boyfriend. I think it's great to be out with a group, but I also find it important to have some down time with just my boyfriend. So what did we do? We went clubbing EVERY SINGLE NIGHT, we hired a tandem, we segwayed, we enjoyed ourselves at one of the many small beach terraces of Berlin, we shopped, we had very good food, we visited some cultural stuff and we LAUGHED...A LOT!!! :)

Here some random shots of our trip to Berlin.
