I saw this newsflash the other day about people operating their ears so they can get pointy elf ears. You know, like in Lord of the Rings. The only question in my mind was: WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO HAVE POINTY EARS? There are people born with pointy ears who do cosmetic surgery to get normal shaped ears, but apparently now there are people who actually would like to trade their ears for pointy ears.
