MFW 2012: Fendi

Dear readers,

Colour block, fur and oversize dresses are the tones set in Fendi's Spring/Summer 2013 collection. This collection kind of reminds me of Marni. However, I am not half as impressed by this collection as I was by Marni's. As with every collection, also those that you don't really like, there is always something that you do like. For me, that is the baby blue oversized jersey/dress pictured in photo 2.

Which of these fashion favourites is your number 1? I would have to go for the cotton necklace by Marni. I love statement necklaces and I love to experiment with different fabrics, this necklace has both of these elements captured in its design and I think it will look awesome and so sophisticated with so many different clothes AND with my tan from Colombia :D

Applicated flowers!

It looks as if the flowers are applicated onto the dress, so pretty! I love the orange one, because I think it matches so well with the flowers and the style of the dress...really a must-have for this summer :)

Assuming all of you are aware of the collaboration between Italian label Marni and H&M for this coming spring and summer, I wanted to show you the official video directed by Sofia Coppola. Here it is:

What do you think? So different from the Versace for H&M video, right?! Much more serene, although I have to say that I really digged the Versace for H&M video too.

Btw, did you know the collection will be in selected stores on March 8 already?

It was just yesterday that I received an H&M box with the pieces I chose of the Versace for H&M-collection and today H&M went public with the news that the spring of 2012 will reward us with a collection of Marni for H&M. I'm SO curious as to how the collection will look like...I'm thinking cute patterns, a modern touch and lots of color, but in a sophisticated way.
