NYFW 2012: Derek Lam
Dear readers,
I was pretty curious as to how Derek Lam's 2013 Spring/Summer Collection would look like, but I can't really say he kept me flabbergasted...actually, to be honest it was quite the dissapointment for me. Not because the collection was afwul or anything, but simply because I expected so much more from such a great designer. Do you agree with me or...?

NYFW 2012: Marc by Marc Jacobs
Dear readers,
The Marc by Marc Jacobs collection reminds me of the circus. We see a lot of black and white alongside some beige and burgundy, a lot of stripes, plaids, animal prints, leather and big clownesque collars. I am not sure if I like this collection. Maybe I just have to get used to it, I don't know!
What is your opinion about this collection?

NYFW 2012: Michael Kors
Dear readers,
And yet again we see stripes! This time in Michael Kors' presentation of his Spring/Summer 2013 collection. Aside from stripes we see overcoats in primary colours, a lot of zippers, silver plaquettes and perspex accessories.
What do you think?
For me, this collection is good, but not great! I do however like the zipper details and the silver plaquettes! It gives it a little bit of an edge! Aside from that, I am now going through my closet to bring life to all my striped items, because this is obviously going to be hot this coming spring!

NYFW 2012: BCBG Max Azria
Dear readers,
A lot of black and white and here and there some other colours like denim blue and peach. It all transcends into a calm but refreshing collection full of beautiful pieces! Have a look!
I really adore this collection! For me, it is sort of Greece meets Japan. Greece because of the long dresses and Japan because it reminds me of geisha's and Kill Bill! Haha...for real!
