Tattoos & Fashion!

Dear readers,

Where once upon a time tattoos were a big NO in fashion, it is now fully embraced by it! Models love them and don't feel the need to excuse themselves for it. They see it as an extension of themselves, an expression! So does Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle and other prominent fashion magazines as you can see in the following shots!

What do you think of tattoos and fashion, do they go well together or not? And do you yourself have a tattoo?

I don't own any tattoos, although I do like them, just not on my body! ;) I think I would regret it...

Back to School!

Vogue continues digging deeper into their dark side and I am actually kind of loving it! In the September issue of Vogue models Kate Moss and Saskia de Brauw both represent the gothic theme in a very "dark" shoot while wearing among other brands Dolce & Gabbana, Lanvin and Bottega Veneta.

Film noir!

Daria Werbowy covers the cover of Vogue's september issue alongside Kate Moss and Lara Stone. I find this shoot the most amazing one out of the three, although all three covers are simply stunning! This shoot, shot by Mert & Marcus, reminds me of the era of film noir. I love it! What is your take on this shoot?

Keeping up with Kendall & Kylie Jenner!

The Kardashians are famous as what, but no need to stop it there, 'cuz their two baby sisters, Kendall & Kylie Jenner, are up an coming and as far as I know, they too are unstoppable! What a family, right?! REALLY...hands down! So for today's post I made a collage of beautiful pictures of their photoshoots, which I know you are gonna love! Have a look!

Don't you find that in the second last picture Kendall looks a lot like Kim and Kylie like Kourtney?

Anyway, what do you think of their work? I really like it so far, especially picture 1, 3 and 6. I do think Kendall is more the model-type than Kylie is, although I find them both beautiful. Character wise I dig Kylie more haha!

Dutch models!

Dear readers,

I always feel such pride when I am reading a magazine and see photos of a Dutch model. I think Dutch people in general are really pretty and I think people in the fashion industry think alike, because a lot of Dutch models are featured in magazines, on billboards and of course on the catwalk.
